Chester Jasper, a beloved cowboy and devoted servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on February 1,1949. Chester spent his life riding horseback, fishing, and embracing daily life. His hands, weathered by years of hard work, were a testament to his strength and dedication.
Chester's love for the cowboy way of life was matched by his deep faith. A man of quiet humility and unwavering devotion, he found comfort and purpose in his relationship with God and family. Whether he was on horseback, fishing, or at home, Chester lived out his life always lending a hand to those in need and sharing his kindness with those he met along the way. His relationship with the Lord and family was at the core of everything he did, and his example of grace and service will remain a guiding light to all who knew him.
Chester was known for his infectious laugh, his honest nature, and his generosity. His heart was as big as the wide-open sky he loved so dearly, and his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.
Chester is survived by his loving wife, Jewel Jasper; his children, Tonia Taylor, Billie Jo Blaner, Summer Campbell, Angela Barron; grandchildren, Petra Rostova, Danille Blaner, Jessica Blaner, Quesden Hawk, Blake Taylor, Elizabeth Barron, and Addison Cambell; great grandchildren; Jackson Blaner, Addison Campbell, Neyland Rostova, and his extended family of friends and neighbors who considered him a brother.
A celebration of Chester's life will be held on February 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at 538 Burketts Chapel Road, Decatur, Tennessee 37322.
Chester's journey on earth may have come to an end, but his spirit will ride on forever, carried in the hearts of those who knew him and the fields he loved. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
