Charles Lee Roberts, 62, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 26, 2019 at Star Regional Medical Center. He attended Ten Mile Holiness Church of Jesus Christ. He loved to grill out and watch Tennessee football. He was a devoted family man who loved attending family functions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olif and Mabel Roberts; five brothers, Arthur, Ed. Harold, Jerry, and Terry Roberts; and one sister, Louise Renfro..
Survivors include his daughters, Laura Belle Roberts, Chattanooga TN, and Samantha Faye (Ronnie Shelton) Roberts, Ten Mile, TN; two brothers, Gary (Barbara Kellogg) Roberts, and Arnold (Janie) Roberts, both of Ten Mile, TN; two sisters, Carolyn Strickland and Lois Meeks, both of Ten Mile, TN; five grandchildren, Preston Roberts, Chattanooga, TN, Cheyenne Rymer, Athens, TN, Emily Prince, Knoxville, TN, Lillian Rymer, Athens, TN, and Austion Rymer, Decatur, TN; and one great-grandchild, Aubree Goins.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 31 at 8 PM in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Lawrence Waller and Pastor Rusty Waller officiating. Burial will be Saturday at Roberts Cemetery at Ten Mile at 11 Am. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Sammy Shelton, Ronnie Shelton, James Shelton, Randy Gibson, Preston Roberts, Joseph Goins.
