Charles Willard Moore

Charles Martin "Willard" Moore, 75, of Decatur, was called to Heaven Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015.

He attended Union Grove Baptist Church and worked most of his years in law enforcement and security. He was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 28 years, Margaret Ann Moore; parents, George and Alice Moore; brother, Larry Moore.

He is survived by daughters, Diane Barkley (Charles), of Rossville, Ga. and JoAnn McConkey (Shaun Godsey), of Decatur; step-son, Jimmy Raisler (Serena), of Harrison; sisters, Candice Moore and Nora Moore; brother, Jackie Moore (Phyllis), of Decatur; Grandchildren, Emily and Abby Barkley, of Rossville, Ga, Kristen Boshears (Josh), Joseph Woods (Kelly), of Chattanooga; great grandchildren, Jaylen Boshears, Haven Woods, Caitlyn Woods and Joseph Woods Jr., of Chattanooga; his beloved grand pup, Leelou Ann, who loved him dearly; several nieces and nephews and special niece Christie Moore.

Funeral service is Sunday, Nov. 29 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Lewis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12-2:30 Sunday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Beta cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tyler Pelfrey, Charlie Godsey, Bryan Godsey, Junior Stafford, Jackie Lamb, Jonathon Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Moore and Cody Moore.
