Charles A Bryant

April 4, 1937 — December 7, 2021

Charles A Bryant, age 84, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was a son of the late Hatlie and Ailene Beavers Bryant. He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church, American Legion, and the VFW. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and retired after serving his Country for more than 20 years. During his service, Charles received many commendations and medals including the Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver Star. He is preceded in death by his wife: Phyllis Bryant, son: Boyd Bryant, 6 brothers, 3 sisters. He is survived by a daughter, grandson, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Morning Pointe Assisted Living for their love and exceptional care of Charles. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Forgey. Per his wishes, there will be no formal visitation held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pisgah Cemetery Fund (Bobby Dennis, 16032 N Nopone Valley Rd. Decatur, TN 37322). Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Bryant Family.
