Catherine "Cathy" J. Staton

Catherine “Cathy” J. Staton, age 55, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents: James Calvin and Linda Faye Poteet Staton, son: Jeffrey Staton, daughter: Megan Staton, granddaughter: Cherokee Swafford. She is survived by her children: Karrie Carter (Nicole Hanks), James C. “J.C” Staton (Cecilia Moore), grandchildren: Natalie, Linda, Kimberley, David, Dustin, Blake, Lexi, London, and Landon, brother: James A. (Amber), several other extended family and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Staton Family.
