Carrie Louise Nelson

Carrie Louise Tewell Nelson, age 56, of Decatur and formerly of Everett, PA, went to be with the Lord at her home on Friday, November 1, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her sister Charlene Tewell.

Survivors include her daughters Johnna Nelson and Rachel Nelson of Decatur, mother Evelyn Stickler of Decatur, her grandson David Nelson of Decatur, sister Julie Bottomly of Cleveland, TN, brother Kenny Tewell of Everett, PA, her fiancé Teddy Hicks of Athens, a special friend Teresa Clayton of Decatur, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Carrie will be held in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home at 3 PM on Monday, November 4, 2019.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to help with Carrie's final expenses.
