Carolyn Sue Letner, age 73, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
She was a daughter of the late Johnny and Annie Letner. She dedicated her life to serving her community and the Lord.. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. She was a committed EMT for Meigs County and Monroe County, where she served with distinction and compassion. Her dedication to helping others was a defining feature of her life.
In addition to her professional commitments, Carolyn had a passion for creating beautiful floral arrangements and enjoyed entertaining friends and family with her love of music. She found joy in bringing people together and giving back to her community, embodying a life of service and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Letner Wolf; brother, Ricky Letner.
She is survived by the love of her life, Tim Clark; daughters, Karen (Paul) DeLude, Kelly (Rusty) Waller; grandchildren, John Phillip (Jessica) Waller, Erica (Jose) Hayes, Teddy "Alex" (Victoria) Argue; several great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; siblings, Peggy Letner Brooks, Tim (Gaye) Letner; brother-in-law, Darrell Clark; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Lawrence Waller and the Rev. Gregory Gilliam officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in the Roberts Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., prior to the service on Monday.
