Carolyn Sue (Ray) Jones

Mrs. Carolyn Jones went to heaven on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born on March 8, 1948. She will be so missed by her family and friends. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ten Mile. She worked as a cook in the Meigs Co. Schools for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Jones. She is survived by her son: Ronnie Jones (Teresa) of Evensville; brothers: Joe Ray (Gail), James Ray (Anna Faye), both of Ten Mile; sister: Judy Walden (Don) of Ten Mile; granddaughter: Tiffany Kauffman; great grandson: Parker Kauffman, Myles Kauffman; special friends she loved: Joy Kilapatrick, Pam Ellison, Sissy Inman, Carolyn Simmons, Stella Massey, all of Ten Mile; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. The family was lucky to have this good lady in their life. Heaven will be blessed. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 2.p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Per Carolyn’s wishes there will be no formal visitation. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Jones Family.
