Carolyn Mae Brown

Carolyn Mae Brown, 72, of Ten Mile, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lisa (Parker) Scroggins; sisters Reba Powers, Bobbie McLere. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son Terry and Sandra Walker, of Decatur; brother Gene and June Scroggins, of Decatur; two sisters, Catherine Moore of Decatur, Margaret and Sonny Price of Alabama; 8 grandchildren, Shacota Carouthers, Carolyn Marie Broome, Franky Manning, Takisha Walker, Terry Lee Walker, Chastin Walker, Jessica Walker, Joe Walker; 5 great grandchildren, Tommy Carouthers, Courtney Carouthers, Dillan Carouthers, Jayden Grissom, Austin
Grossom; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at the funeral home.

The funeral will be held a 1 pm Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Scroggins officiating.

Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
