Brenda Sue (Wyatt) Walden

Brenda Sue Wyatt Walden, age 70, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Kitty Holland Wyatt. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister: Fredia Skidmore. She is survived by her daughters: Tammy Hill (Jeff) of Decatur, Tina Hammonds (Jeremy) of Athens; brother: Tommy Wyatt of Decatur; grandchildren: Shelby Ensley (Matt), Jamie O’Daniel, Caitlyn Hill, Ethan Hill, Maggie Hammonds, Haleigh Hammonds, Kaiden Hammonds; great grandchildren: Kyndall Newman, Abel Ensley, A.J. O’Daniel; special friend since kindergarten: Phyllis Price; a nieces, nephew, and other extended family and friends. A Funeral service will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Rymer, the Rev. Josh Cornelius, and the Rev. Kenneth Gardner officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Cottonport Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Jamie O’Daniel, Kaiden Hammonds, Matt Ensley, Austyn Allen, Ethan Hill, Preston Skidmore, Spencer Skidmore, Chris Skidmore, Ben Allen, Stuart Mason, Jason Rynes.
