Brenda Sue Letner

Brenda Sue Letner of Decatur, departed this life on September 18, 2026, at the age of 76. Brenda was born on May 8, 1950, in Athens, Tennessee. She was a cherished mother and a skilled seamstress, dedicating her career to the clothing manufacturing industry. She was also employed by the Piggly Wiggly in Decatur for many years.

Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fletcher Letner. Parents, Toy and Hazel Swafford. Brothers, Jack and Larry Swafford.

Brenda is survived by her beloved son, Brian (Julia) Letner, who was a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Grandchildren, Brent (Katie) Maddron. Great-grandchildren, Annslee and Acelynn Maddron. One sister, Leona Womac. Several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Her legacy will live on through the warm memories shared with family and friends, as well as her unwavering passion for antiques, which brought her great joy and connection with those around her.

There are no formal services scheduled at this time.

Brenda's gentle spirit and kindness will be missed profoundly, but her impact on those she loved will forever remain in their hearts.
