Brenda Kay Greene Price

Brenda Kay Greene Price, age 76, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with MS.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jo Greene. Brenda was a loving mother and devoted wife. She always had a smile on her face and was always positive. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur and a strong witness for God. She retired from the Meigs County School System after teaching Kindergarten for 30 years, which she loved dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years: Eddie Price; sons: Brian and Steve Price; brothers: Robert (Glenda) Greene, James (Donna) Greene; special friends: Kenneth and Phyllis Hale and family; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation and Hearth Hospice for their great care of Brenda.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the Jamey Davis Ministries.
