Boyd Herman Clark

Boyd Herman Clark, 80, of Spring City went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 17, 2014. He attended Bethsadia Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver where he was known as "Pork Chop". He was preceded in death by his parents Duard and Hazel (Gragg) Clark; beloved grandmother Lula Gragg; brother Duard Clark Jr., sister Margaret Clark Lial; infant daughter Debra Clark. Boyd is survived by his wife Verdie Clark; sons Bobby Clark of S.C., Bruce Denmark and his wife Michelle of Meigs Co., Greg Denmark and his wife Melanie of Spring City; daughter Sonja Greene and her husband Brian of Spring City; sister Ella Mae Curtis of Morganton, N.C; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Eileen Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Bethsadia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm.
