Bobby Wayne Reed

Bobby Wayne Reed, age 78, of Ten Mile, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.

He was a son of the late T.J. and Ruby Bottoms Reed. He was a life-time member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ten Mile and retired from Bowater Paper Mill. He was a member of Meigs Masonic Lodge #213 F.&A.M. and the Alhambra Shrine.

He is preceded in death by his son: Dan Reed, brothers: Larry and Dennis Reed.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years: Joyce Reed; several nieces and other extended family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Bro. Curtis Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 2 p.m., prior to the service.
