Billy Ray Trew

Billy Ray Trew, 65, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Mary Grigsby Trew: brother J.B Trew; sister Barbara "Bobbie" Trew. Billy was of the Church of God faith. He was born March 27,1947. Survivors include his wife of over 40 years, Susan "Susie" Goines Trew: son Billy Trew jr. and his wife Stacy; brother Clyde Trew; sister Mildred Miller, all of Decatur. The funeral will be held Thursday Feb. 28 at 8pm with Pastor Wendy Barick officiating at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mtn View Memorial Gardens at 11 am on Friday. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Bowers Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
