Beverly Ann (Lindsay) Swafford

Beverly Ann Lindsay Swafford, 86, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was a daughter of the late Forrest and Lois Loudermilk Lindsay. She is preceded in death by her husband: William Malone, son: Michael Malone, daughter: Karen Boyd, sisters: Linda Haskell, Norma Decker, brothers: Robert Lindsay, Forrest William Lindsay, Jr. She is survived by her husband: Burch T. Swafford of Athens, sons: Bruce Malone (Sandy) of Decatur, William Malone, Jr. of Sullivan, IN, step sons: John Daniel Swafford (Sherri) of Cleveland, Rodger Swafford of Athens, daughters: Roberta Shay of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lori Burcham (Tim) of Lewisburg, TN, step daughters: Kathy Leamon (Darrell) of Athens, Billie Masters of Eugene, OR, son-in-law: Jerry Boyd of Riceville, TN, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 3p.m. in the chapel of Decatur Funeral home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis and the Rev. Bruce Malone officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur cemetery. There will be no formal visitation held. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Swafford Family.
