Betty Marie Smith

Betty Marie Smith, age 68, of Decatur, TN, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 15, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Eliza (Farris) Goforth; husbands, Robert Jackson and Osborn Smith; son Denzal Jackson; brothers, Plez Goforth, Lige Goforth; sister Elizabeth Brooks. She is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Nadine and Ricky Webb, Searetha Lankford, Maria Kincaid and Rachel Gonzalez, all of Decatur, TN; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
