Betty Louise Lynn

May 23, 1929 — November 28, 2020

Betty Nelson Lynn, 91, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 28, 2020 with her loving children by her side.



She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church of Ten Mile. She retired from Duracell Battery Company. She loved to travel, sew, spend time with her children and play with her little dog Bandit.



She was preceded in death by her husband: George, parents: Sherman and Mildred Nelson, daughter: Charlotte Armour, and two brothers.



She is survived sons: Nelson & Mona Lynn, Joe Lynn and Sandy Lynn, daughters: Joyce Whorley, Tricia & C L Hall, grandchildren: Kirk & Rose Whorley, Keith & Lesley Whorley, Tracy & Jeff Brady& Mitch Armour, Todd Lynn, Brandy & Chris Baucom, Melissa & Buddy Mitchell, Josh Casteel, great grandchildren: Morgan & Masson Mitchell, Austin Armour, Austin Whorley, Kyler & River Lynn, Laney Lewis, Ben Collins, and Holly McChestey, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. We would like to say our Mother preached her own funeral, she left the kids with a legacy and to love each other.



In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to donate to your favorite charity.



A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Rocky Springs Cemetery, Ten Mile with special singing by Bro. Ricky Campbell.



The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services.



Pallbearers will include: Kirk Whorley, Keith Whorley, Austin Whorley, Austin Armour, Kyler Lynn, Mason Mitchell, Josh Casteel.

Due to Covid 19 regulations we ask that you bring and wear your mask during the service and practice social distancing.
