Betty Hickman

Betty Moon Hickman, 76, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Rhea County Medical Center. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She retired from the Hamilton County School System, where she served for 32 years. She was the daughter of the late H. L. and Margaret Moon. She is survived by her Husband of 50 years: Kenneth “Ed” Hickman of Decatur, many extended family and a host of friends. Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 prior to the service. Due to Covid 19 regulations we ask that you bring and wear your mask during the service and practice social distancing.
