Berta Lou Davis

Berta "Bertie" Lou Davis age 82, of Decatur, TN went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2011. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Daisy Carpenter Arnold; Sisters Alene Monroe, Mildred Miller, Mary Sue Keaton, Lorene Arnold; Brother Jewel Arnold. She is survived by Husband Clyde H. Davis; Son Jerry C. Davis of Decatur, TN; Daughter Brenda Wright of Decatur, TN; Brother James "Jr" Arnold of Decatur, TN; Sister Faye McAllister of Riceville, TN; Grandchildren Katie Davis, Tim Keaton, Kim Spurling; Great Grandchildren Michael and Heather Spurling, Christy Sitzlar; Great Great Grandchildren Jaylen and Lillie Sitzlar. Funeral services are 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Darrel Davis, Stanley Davis, Larry Davis, Michael Monroe, Tim Keaton, Dean Goforth.
