Ben Oliver Browder

Ben Oliver Browder, 72, of Decatur passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 following an extended illness. He was born in Athens and had been a resident of Decatur since 2002 coming from Ooltewah. He loved being on and repairing the computer. He worked at Ace Hardware in Decatur and was very willing to help anyone who came through the door. Ben was a member of the United Church of God in Chattanooga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Vivian Browder; and two brothers, Kenneth and Roy Browder.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Sue Browder of Decatur; a son, Scott Allen Browder (Shari) of Ft. Collins, CO; daughters, Kimberly Ann Cooper (Shawn) of Decatur, Linda Dian Browder of Denver, CO, and Adrienne Browder of Decatur; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Bowers Funeral Home with Rick Bean officiating. The family will receive friends in the visitation room of Bowers Funeral Home following the memorial service.
