Barbara Ann Hicks

Barbara Ann Hicks , 81, of Decatur TN, went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2017 at NHC of Athens.

She was a daughter of the late Sterling and Minnie Brown and was retired from Polyform, Inc. with over 19 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her son Steve Martin and her daughter Patricia Decker.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband of 44 years, Billy Hicks, her children, Junior Martin, Connie(Greg) Mikel, Karen Marcum, Alan Stanley, Timmy Powers, and Michelle (Douglas) Pike, siblings, Donnie Brown, Jimmy Brown, Charles Brown, Billy Brown and JoAnn Moore. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday , December 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Jason Crowder, Eddie Crowder, Rodney Wattson, Mark Taylor, Brett Carter, and Ronnie Whitty will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 5 until 8 P.M., at Bowers Funeral Home.
