Barbara Rhea Case, 76, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord Thursday June 20, 2019.
She worked as a teachers aid in the Meigs County School system. Barbara was a long time member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a good mother and grandmother and loved her family and God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bruce Case Sr. who passed away in December 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents Julius Jones and Laura Lowe Jones and several brothers. As well as son-in-law Jerry Basinger who passed away ealier this month.

Survivors include 1 son Ray (Joann) Case, of Decatur; 2 daughters Lorri (Ed) Case, of Oakdale and Teresa Basinger, of McMinnville; 8 grandchildren John Layman Jr, Jesse Basinger, Arron Caldwell, Corey Caldwell, Tristan Case, Natalie Tisdell, Hannah Lendley and Kristopher Lendley; 12 great-grand children; and several siblings.

Her funeral service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, June 23 at Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Gary King officiating. Burial to follow in Mtn View memorial gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 Sunday.
