Anna Lee Powers Farmer

Anna Powers Farmer, 86, of Ten Mile, TN, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2024.

Anna was born in Decatur, TN to Georgia and William C. Powers on January 3, 1938. She was married to William E. Farmer until his death on
June 21, 2004. Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Until her illness, she was involved in the Meigs County Historical Society and
served as a poll worker during elections.


Anna is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Farmer and daughter, Lisa K. Sloop.


Anna is survived by her four daughters, Vivian Bales, Debra Kress, Darlene (Sammy H. Branham Jr.) Branham and Pamela (Peter) Lafreniere, her sisters Mildred Magyar, Lovella Redman, and brother Cliston L. “Pete” (Connie) Powers, her grandchildren Christa (Joshua) Allen, Eric Powell, DeWayne (Lisa) Bales, Chad Branham, Ashleigh (Richard) Dean, Andrew Gordon and Hannah Lafreniere, and several great-grandchildren.


The family of Anna Powers wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff from Adoration Hospice.


A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
