Alvis Lee Sharp

Alvis Lee Sharp, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the Sweetwater Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Warner Sharp and Maggie Masoner; brothers Monroe Sharp and Warren Franklin Sharp; sister Elizabeth Massengill Sharp. She was a member Burketts Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by nieces, Stacey Sharp of Savannah, Ga., and Taneka Sharp of Hampton, Ohio; nephews, Michael Thompson of Decatur, Tn., and Warren " Jr." Sharp of Hampton, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 10 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Pastor Ronnie Dunn officiating. Interment will be at Burketts Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
