Aleck Maris Pritchett

Aleck Maris Pritchett, age 72, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020.

He was a son of the late Aleck and Kathleen Smith Pritchett. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He retired from Jackson Manufacturing in Cleveland with over 24 years of loyal service.

He was preceded in death by his Brother: Sam Pritchett and Sister: Brenda McGuire.

Survivors include his daughters: Leann (Joseph) Rowland, Cynthia Pritchett, and Sarah (David) Johnson, all of Athens; Grandchildren: McKayla Johnson, McKenzie Johnson, David Junior Johnson, and Hunter Rowland; Sisters: Shirley McGowan and Wanda Pritchett, both of Decatur; Loving partner: April Rathburn of Decatur; Mother of his children: Vickie McCowan of Athens; Several nieces and nephew and other extended family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Decatur Cemetery with Military Honors.

No Formal Visitation will be held.
