Albert James "A.J." Bruning

Albert James “A.J.” Bruning, age 40, a resident of Decatur and formerly of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was employed by Jacky Jones Ford in Sweetwater as a Mechanic. He enjoyed helping other in whatever way he could. He belonged to the Dutch Reformed Church. He is preceded in death by his father: Calvin J. Bruning, Sr. He is survived by his mother: Denise Harding (John) of Decatur, children: Cailin Bruning, Gavin Bruning of Lenior, NC, Brianna Dennison of Winter Haven, FL, Marissa Novalen of New Port Richey, FL, granddaughter: Athena Dennison, brothers: Willard Bruning of Sullivan Co., NY, Calvin Bruning, Jr. of Granite Falls, NC,and Kevin Allsworth of Gladstone, MI; Several nieces, nephews, and extended family. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service on Saturday. Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Bruning Family.
