Aileen Gregory Legg

Aileen (Dyke) Gregory Legg, 92, was born July 23, 1920 and died July 29, 2012. She was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church in the Peakland Community. She was a native of Meigs County.. Preceded in death her father, Virgil M. Gregory, mother, Cordie Reed Gregory; two sisters, Euna Utter and Mae King; three brothers, Grady, Sterling and Clifford Gregory; husband, Clyde C. Legg and one nephew, Robert L. Gregory. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Charles King, Jack Gregory, Dave Gregory, Barbara Ann Russell, Pat Lawson, Suzy Dauber, Jane Ziegler, Mary Nell Bostic, Pam Girand and lots of great nieces, nephews, and lots of special friends, and special friend Cubby Lankford. Funeral services will be at 8pm, Monday, July 30, 2012 in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Monday, July 30, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery at 10 am, Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Pallbearers: Charles King, Harold Lawson, Harold Ziegler, Bill Lankford, Dave Gregory, Derrick Odell.
